Our trip to Costa Rica was very different from our past vacation's with JEK Travels. Our group (14) experience the tail end of Hurricane Sarah which lead to rain the majority of our stay, which is no fault of JEK. We made the best of it and overall we had a good time. However when they started cancelling flights, closed the airports and the resort (Planet Hollywood) was price gouging again no fault to JEK Travels, but it put everyone in a frenzy. I notify Ms. Chevelle of what was going on, she tried to find flights and lodging but the group was so indecisive on what to do, still no fault of JEK Travels. Once we gave her our plan of action either the flights or the lodging was gone since this affected hundreds of people. Ms. Chevelle did everything she could to make sure we got home safely. My advise is, ALWAYS purchased the travelers insurance. Thank you Ms. Chevelle for everything, looking forward to booking in 2025!!!

Trips are coordinated by JEK Travels and team, with onsite assistance and expert guides for memorable experiences.
Q. Who can join these trips?
Our trips are open to everyone who loves to travel for rich experiences with other like minded individuals.
Q. Can children join the trips?
The majority of our trips are designed for adults only. Some of our trips can accommodate children. Please check on each trip for details.
Q. What is included in the trip package?
Our trip packages typically includes accommodations, transfer transportation, select meals, guided tours, and exclusive activities. Look at the specific trip for details.
Q. Do you book flights?
International flights are only included if we have 10 or more people coming from the same location. Clients are responsible for securing their flights and emailing the details.
Q. Do I need a passport or visa?
Yes, a valid passport is required for all International travel. Visa requirements depends on the destination of travel. We will offer guidance during the planning process.
Q. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible monthly payment plans to make travel accessible. Trip deadlines and details are provided during registration.
Q. What happens if my roommate cancels?
If your roommate cancels their portion of the trip, you will be responsible for finding a new roommate. If you’re unable to do so, your room category will be changed from double occupancy to single occupancy, and the price will be adjusted accordingly. Please keep this in mind when making your travel arrangements. Let us know if you have any questions or need assistance!

Q. Is travel insurance required for hosted group trips?
Travel insurance is highly recommended for all hosted group trips to protect your investment. While it is not mandatory, we strongly encourage all travelers topurchase a policy that covers trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance provides peace of mind and ensures you’re covered in case of unexpected events. If you need assistance selecting a policy, we’re happy to provide recommendations.
Q. What happens if the trip is canceled?
In the event of a cancellation, everyone will be notified promptly. Options will be given for rescheduling or you will be given a refund.
